In one of our weekend campfire conversations we began discussing how Northwestern Iowa has an amazing untapped natural asset.  The Big Sioux River.  The Sioux Falls area has several established water trails but they end just south of the city.  How amazing would it be to have trails from the headwaters of the Big Sioux in Watertown, South Dakota, all the way to where it reaches the Mighty Mo!  We have connected with Friends of the Big Sioux River and have been learning of their efforts to clean and maintain this river.  We hope to continue this effort in our area and bring awareness to the awesome potential of this water way.
